Short flat head, creates sharp edges with control. The most popular hog brush shape produces the bold, defined marks expected from a flat brush. The shorter bristle length of this style gives greater control of thicker color or when using large amounts of color. These Winsor & Newton brushes are made from selected durable Chinese hog bristle, ideal for full-bodied oil paints, as well as alkyds and acrylics. Bristles are specially curved for shape retention. The handles have a green stained natural wood finish protected by four coats of lacquer. The naturally curved bristle are handset into seamless corrosion resistant nickel plated ferrules.
