Flat with oval tip. Creates a broad mark with a soft edge. The Filbert is a flat brush with an oval edge, which combines the control of the Short Flat/ Bright with the softer edges of the Round. These Winsor & Newton brushes are made from selected durable Chinese hog bristle, ideal for full-bodied oil paints, as well as alkyds and acrylics. Bristles are specially curved for shape retention. The handles have a green stained natural wood finish protected by four coats of lacquer. The naturally curved bristle are handset into seamless corrosion resistant nickel plated ferrules.
